The Conga Cajons are played similar to congas, but with completely unique results. Sealed at both ends, A Tempo Conga Cajons produce a distinct melodic tone with a surprising amount of projection. The rounded, mellow tones can be accented with the sharp pop of a slap tone using the same technique as you would a standard conga. The playing surface is multi-ply Spanish Cedar and Lupuna.
